SHIRLEY'S BAKED PORK CHOPS "HAWAIIAN-STYLE"

  BAKED PORK CHOPS
WITH PINEAPPLE GLAZED GARNISH
By Shirley Nordby (Canada)
Brush 6 or 8 shoulder or loin pork chops
on both sides with soy sauce,
then rub in ground ginger and pepper.

Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven
for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Drain off part of the drippings
{which will be flavored with soy sauce and ginger}
and add 1/4 cup brown sugar.
In the flavorful drippings, sauté 2 cups drained pineapple chunks or I use crushed pineapple, {the medium size can} until glazed.
Garnish pork chops with glazed pineapple chunks or crushed pineapple and sprigs of parsley or watercress.
