MOTHER’S DAY AT KO OLINA
Moms and daughters on the West side will be happy to
celebrate Mother’s Day at a special brunch and concert at the JW
Marriott Ihilani Resort in
Ko Olina Resort. The show features Raiatea Helm, Jasmine Trias,
Kristian Lei, Kaukahi, and the comedy duo Da Braddahs, from
9:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 11. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., followed by
the buffet at 9:45, and the concert at 10. Individual ticket cost is
$75 or $720 for a table of ten, plus a $2.50 service charge per

WESTSIDE MOTHER’S DAY SHOW
Comedian Mel Cabang will keep Mom and the entire family in stitches
at the annual Mother’s Day Luncheon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on
Sunday, May 11, at the Pililaau Army Recreation Center in Waianae.
Other entertainment includes the Nuuanu Brothers,
3 Scoops of Aloha, and Richard Wells. Ticket cost is $40 for adults

BRUNCH AND FASHION SHOW
Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park will host a Mother’s Day Brunch and
Fashion Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be games, contests,
prizes, a make-up artists, massages by the Women’s Wellness Center,
facials, pedicures, and a fashion show spotlighting summer apparel,
swim suits, and jewelry. Admission is $35.99 for adults and $30.99
for children 11 and under. Call 674-9283.
MUSIC BY THE INSPIRATIONS
The Inspirations, a musical group from the Westside, will perform
tunes from the 1950s through 1970s, as well as “cachi-cachi”
originals, local favorites and country classics, from 6-10 p.m. at
the Pililaau Rec Center in Waianae.
EWA BEACH LIONS CLUB
Ewa Beach Lions Club meets at 7 p.m Wednesday, May 14 and 28,
at Asing Park. Meetings continue on the second and fourth Wednesday

SAFE HAVEN FOOD DISTRIBUTION
The Boys and Girls Club Hale Pono Ewa Beach Clubhouse will be
the site of the next Safe Haven food distribution from 3 to 5 p.m

BAZAAR AND CHICKEN SALE
Waipahu United Church of Christ will hold a bazaar and
barbeque chicken sale from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 17.

household items, clothes, toys, plants and more.
